If you’ve ever wanted to try 15 different flavors of chicken salad, a new Lexington business can grant your wish.
Chicken Salad Chick, a Southern fast-casual restaurant with 11 locations nationwide, opened a new location Tuesday on Sunset Boulevard. Franchise owners Julie Beville and Michelle Singleton, of SingBev Hospitality LLC, decided to expand into Lexington after bringing Chicken Salad Chick to Greenville back in August.
“We found this to be a great location,” Beville said. “It was a big hit in Greenville and we are excited to bring it here.”
“It’s a convenient location for all of our fans,” Director of Marketing Ali Rauch said.
Beville said she and Singleton think the Lexington eatery will be an ideal place for people needing to pick up food for a tailgate or an outing on nearby Lake Murray.
The new Chicken Salad Chick is at 5135 Sunset Blvd., Suite A in the Target shopping center. The restaurant touts a unique chicken salad experience with 15 original flavors plus gourmet soups, side salads and desserts.
The owners agree that one thing sets their new store apart from the others.
“It’s our unique, awesome Lexington staff,” Beville said.
Chicken Salad Chick brought about 30 jobs to the area. The store is always accepting applications, which can be found online or in store.
SingBev Hospitality LLC plans to open 30 more locations in the Carolinas. Beville said a Columbia location is a strong possibility along with restaurants in Charleston, Charlotte and Asheville.
Chicken Salad Chick is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information, call 356-0146.
